About:
Just Keep Fishing is a profile driven documentary about Lim Yi Xuan, the creator of Facepalm Fishing. What started out as a passion project for 13 year old Yi Xuan, has now grown into a wildly successful fishing youtube channel boasting 14,000 subscribers. We go behind the scenes and find out more about how and why Facepalm Fishing came to be.

Creative Problem: 
As part of a university course (Media Production and Presentation), we were tasked to create a 3 mins profile driven documentary. With team of 5 people, we had 2 weeks to create the entire video from securing profiles in pre-production to shooting and editing the final video.

Solution:
Our group decided to showcase the wonders of fishing and put together an intimate wholesome piece about the creator of Facepalm Fishing, Lim Yi Xuan.

As the DOP and editor, I was tasked with ensuring the director's vision came to life by putting together the main visual language of the film, communicating with the gaffer and other camera operators on set, shooting, and editing the final film.
