About:
"I Love Butterflies" is a profile led documentary that explores the themes of commitment, dedication, and why some passions endure. The film is about Amy Tsang, 72, who has been a butterfly watcher and butterfly conservationist for more than a decade.
​
Creative Problem: 
As part of my polytechnic diploma, we were tasked to produce a profile led documentary during the pandemic.  
​
Solution:
This meant that we had to work with extremely lean teams. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I ended up having to direct, produce and film for most of the scenes.

We also had to conduct the interview on zoom. For the scenes in the forest, I was the only camera operator and had to film on my IPhone due to equipment restrictions. Amy was also a profile that I has sourced.
