As part of NTU Women’s Rugby 2024 recruitment drive, I led the social media strategy for our social media presence.

 

My key contributions included:

  • Social Media Management:

    • Developed and implemented a comprehensive social media content plan to maximize engagement and reach.

    • Created engaging social media content (e.g., graphics, videos, posts) to attract potential recruits.

    • Managed our Telegram channel, ensuring timely updates and direct communication with interested individuals.

  • Welcome Week Booth Logistics:

    • Planned logistical aspects for the club's Welcome Week booth, ensuring a smooth and effective setup.

    • Liaised with sponsors to secure support and resources for the recruitment drive.

    • Organized the team to ensure sufficient members were present and actively helping at the booth throughout Welcome Week.

  • Recruitment Engagement & Liaison:

    • Spoke directly at the booth to engage with and inform potential new players about the club and its activities.

    • Liaised with new recruits, providing information and support to help them integrate into the team.

 

This resulted in more than 35 sign ups, which is almost a 200% increase compared to the previous year.
